Based on the idea of watching a moth that sits soon a wall while it seeks shelter to hibernate.
Wheel formed, Cool Ice porcelain, twice fired to mid fire temp. The moth has been hand painted in underglazes.
Important: The bowl is non functional as it is unglazed and matt in texture. There are holes at the base to hang the moth or it can be placed on a flat surface. This particular one hangs at a left angle (10'o'clock)instead of moth nose up.
Please note that these are handmade vessels and imperfections are part of the process and its charm. The images are different views of the same vessel.
