Portrait of a cockatoo that I once met. Hand painted in underglazes. The vessel is wheel formed with Cool Ice porcelain and twice fired to mid fire temp. The outer surface is unglazed and matt in texture. The inside is glazed with a transparent glaze and will hold water.
